The Anaheim Factory Old Skool 36 DX pays tribute to the first Vans factory in Anaheim, California, by borrowing details from the original Old Skool and offering modernized comfort with upgraded UltraCush™ sockliners. The Old Skool 36 DX also includes throwback details, using the original style number and color palette, higher glossed foxing tape, cotton laces, original drill lining weight and a heavy 10 oz. canvas and suede upper to complete the look.

Vans go back, way back.
Brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren started the company in California in 1966, then known as The Van Doren Rubber Company. The Vans #44 Deck Shoe (now known as the Authentic) was born.
To this day, Vans has stayed true to their roots in Skateboarding, and its associated subcultures. The classics range still contains the original lineup, and the constant evolution of the brand has seen new technologies and innovation deliver new models that are not only fit for purpose on your board, but look just as great on the streets.
