The twin tipped polo was the first piece to carry the iconic Fred Perry 5-4-4 tipping. This polo silhouette is draped in history, and each new generation adds to its legacy.
The M3600 polo features Fred Perry's classic twin tipping running across the collar and cuffs. Made from a soft 100% cotton pique, it has a definitive two-button placket and Fred Perry's signature embroidered Laurel Wreath logo on the left chest.

The Fred Perry brand was born in the late 1940's, when former Austrian footballer Tibby Wegner approached three times Wimbledon champion Fred Perry with an idea. Their initial venture was the very first sweatband, which was quickly adopted by tennis players across the courts of Britain. In 1952 the pair launched what was to be Fred Perry's most famous garment: a slim fit cotton pique shirt with Laurel Wreath embroidery. Today the Laurel Wreath logo is recognisable worldwide, with shops and customers across 50 countries around the globe.

Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry was born to a cotton spinner. He played and fought his way through, always with style and despite the establishment. In 1952, he founded the Fred Perry brand, designing his first pique shirt the same year.
That shirt, the shirt, would transcend sportswear to streetwear on the backs of generation after generation of British youth subcultures. The shirt is the start and end of everything Fred Perry do, because it’s more than a shirt – it’s a rite of passage, it’s the uniform of the non-uniform. A true icon.
