Inspired by designs from the FP archive, the Reissues collection reinterprets original pieces with directional styling. For this collection, Fred Perry reference the Ivy League styles and colour-coordinated leisurewear of 1960s America, when Fred owned the legendary Beverly Hills Tennis Club. Moving on from the corporate suits of the previous decade, men started to mix sportswear with tailoring – and the knitted shirt was at the forefront.
Made in Italy from a blend of merino wool and acrylic, Fred Perry adapt their signature knitted shirt with a Henley-style neck and pearl-effect buttons. Leisurewear at its best.

Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry was born to a cotton spinner. He played and fought his way through, always with style and despite the establishment. In 1952, he founded the Fred Perry brand, designing his first pique shirt the same year.
That shirt, the shirt, would transcend sportswear to streetwear on the backs of generation after generation of British youth subcultures. The shirt is the start and end of everything Fred Perry do, because it’s more than a shirt – it’s a rite of passage, it’s the uniform of the non-uniform. A true icon.
